Air: The Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery is 30 km from the city. Apart from being serviced by the domestic airlines including Indian Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways and Jetlite, numerous international airlines also fly to and from Cochin. Prominent among these are Emirates, Qatar Airways, Oman Airways, Kuwait Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Etihad and Gulf Air. Besides Cochin, there are International airports at Kozhikode (200 km away) and Trivandrum (205 km away).

Rail: Ernakulam is a major railhead of the Southern Railway, with the main station being the Ernakulam South Junction (Ph: 131). Ernakulam Town (Ph: +91 484 2390920).

Road: The KSRTC Central Bus Station (Ph: +91 484 2372033) is between Ernakulam North and South Railway Stations. Private buses operate from the High Court Junction, Railway Station and Kaloor Junction.
